Incisive and relentlessly sharp Fern Brady is one of Scotland’s best stand-ups. Named by The Telegraph as one of the top five young comedians to watch, all of Fern’s three Fringe shows have sold out through word of mouth alone and she has recently embarked on her first national tour.
Fern’s bold and whip-smart brand of humour has also appeared on such television shows as Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central, Stewart Lee’s Alternative Comedy Experience, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Viceland’s Brexit Stage Left. Her radio credits also include BBC Radio 4’s State of the Nations and BBC Scotland’s Breaking the News.
Quick witted acerbic stand-up
It’s not often that a new act in their first year of performing comedy enjoys the level of success Simon Lomas has. Beating Gong Shows and New Act competitions across the North West, Simon has been wowing audiences with his sharp and solid joke writing and in July 2016 was garlanded the crown of Yorkshire New Comedian of the Year as part of the Great Yorkshire Fringe.
Recently, Simon was awarded third place at the English Comedian of the Year competition and was selected to perform as part of Just the Tonic’s prestigious Big Value showcase at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Imaginative, delightful wordplay
