For over a decade Dan Evan’s accessible but childish surrealism has delighted audiences throughout the UK and Ireland.
Whilst touring internationally, Dan has had his grammar corrected by Dutch and German crowds; performed for sweating ex-pats in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore and Thailand, and is one of just two UK comics to play Hanoi, Vietnam.
Dan has appeared on BBC 2’s Brain Candy, At The Store and The Comedy Zone as well as notching up credits on Radio 2’s Stand Up Show and 28 acts in 28 Minutes on Radio 4. Dan also co-wrote the sitcom The House of Rooms with Milton Jones.
Original and inventive
Bio coming soon
A highly distinctive performer and deft writer of finely crafted jokes, Peter unassumingly takes the stage with his slight bespectacled frame and scruffy hair, before consummately conquering it with an arsenal of razor sharp quirky one-liners and peerlessly original routines, all delivered in an amusingly awkward fashion.
Peter has been a finalist in a variety of local and national comedy competitions including the BBC New Comedy Award 2013, as well as winning the Harrogate Comedian of the Year 2012. He has also written for BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, The Show What You Wrote and Newsjack, and supported Arthur Smith during his 2013 tour.
In 2015 he performed his debut solo hour ‘Older Than The Oldest Dog That Ever Lived’ at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, receiving 4*+ reviews. That year he also performed as part of the prestigious ‘Big Value’ showcase run by Just The Tonic.
Compellingly hilarious … first-class gag writing … an original and achingly funny voice
Danny McLoughlin began performing stand-up in 2007 and quickly reached the finals of the Chortle Student Comedian of the Year competition. He went on to perform as part of the prestigious Big Value Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2009 and, the following year, supported Al Pitcher on his UK tour. More recently, he has supported both Micky Flanagan and Sean Lock on their national tours and was crowned Best MC at the UK Comedy Awards 2016.
With an amiable, confident stage presence and a well written set Danny delivers material with more than just an immediate pay-off line, preferring to take the joke one or two steps further. Confident enough to take a risk on stage he does so not to the detriment of the audience, keeping them laughing along or hanging on every word. Not many comics could get a laugh from the notion of retro chocolate bars but Danny manages a full, gag packed routine with ease.
Danny has also appeared on Dave’s One Night Stand alongside Al Murray, Andy Zaltzman and Richard Herring.
He can recite an advertising jingle and still get plenty of laughs
