For over a decade Dan Evan’s accessible but childish surrealism has delighted audiences throughout the UK and Ireland.
Whilst touring internationally, Dan has had his grammar corrected by Dutch and German crowds; performed for sweating ex-pats in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore and Thailand, and is one of just two UK comics to play Hanoi, Vietnam.
Dan has appeared on BBC 2’s Brain Candy, At The Store and The Comedy Zone as well as notching up credits on Radio 2’s Stand Up Show and 28 acts in 28 Minutes on Radio 4. Dan also co-wrote the sitcom The House of Rooms with Milton Jones.
Original and inventive
With 16 years of comedy experience on his belt Gordon Southern is one of the most sought after headline acts on the UK and international circuits. He regularly plays to sell out audiences at the most prestigious clubs in the country including The Comedy Store and spends at least two months every year performing in Australia.
Gordon’s upbeat and energetic delivery – combined with his fantastically funny observational comedy and quick witted improvisation – has secured his place as an audience favourite and earned him nominations for Best Comedy Show at both the Perth and New Zealand Comedy Festivals.
An award winning writer, gaining critical acclaim for numerous projects he has worked on, Gordon has written for some of the most memorable comedy shows of the last decade including The One Ronnie (nominated for a British Comedy Award), Cheese Shop (Time Out Comedy Award) and Dead Ringers.
Gordon has also provided warm-up for Have I Got News for You, QI, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and I’m Alan Partridge. Additionally, for better or for worse, Gordon was the very memorable voice of the Admiral Insurance Parrot.
Hugely talented …. very funny
Danny McLoughlin began performing stand-up in 2007 and quickly reached the finals of the Chortle Student Comedian of the Year competition. He went on to perform as part of the prestigious Big Value Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2009 and, the following year, supported Al Pitcher on his UK tour. More recently, he has supported both Micky Flanagan and Sean Lock on their national tours and was crowned Best MC at the UK Comedy Awards 2016.
With an amiable, confident stage presence and a well written set Danny delivers material with more than just an immediate pay-off line, preferring to take the joke one or two steps further. Confident enough to take a risk on stage he does so not to the detriment of the audience, keeping them laughing along or hanging on every word. Not many comics could get a laugh from the notion of retro chocolate bars but Danny manages a full, gag packed routine with ease.
Danny has also appeared on Dave’s One Night Stand alongside Al Murray, Andy Zaltzman and Richard Herring.
He can recite an advertising jingle and still get plenty of laughs
