Ben is a highly experienced and hugely well respected stand-up. Performing comedy since 1993, he is renowned for his incredibly relaxed stage persona and his innate ability to improvise as well as deliver sharply crafted material. He is also the cousin of actor Martin Freeman and the father of triplets.
Ben’s TV credits include Mock the Week, Comedy Central’s Live at the Comedy Store, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and They Think It’s All Over. Additionally he has written and performed three critically acclaimed Edinburgh shows and supported Ed Byrne on his 2013 national tour including Ed’s DVD recording at the Hammersmith Apollo.

Jonny Awsum exploded onto the professional comedy scene with a crowd-pleasing set that’s seen him perform his special feel-good brand of musical comedy around the world. Jonny has performed internationally from Cyprus to Slovakia, Austria to Hong Kong – his feel-good set has captivated audiences at every kind of venue from tiny to large comedy clubs, playing to our Armed Troops abroad, at nationwide theatres as part of Paul Hollywood’s tour and to sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Jonny has also enjoyed a taste of stadium work, fronting the main stage at the Silverstone Classic. He also provides warm up for some of the biggest television shows in production, including Big Brother and Loose Women.
