Rob Rouse is one of the country’s hottest comedians. His super-charged brand of humour, complete with his trademark cheeky banter, has helped him to become one of the fastest rising stars of stage and television.
Since winning Channel Four’s prestigious So You Think You’re Funny? competition at the Edinburgh Festival in 1998, an award previously won by Phil Kay, Dylan Moran, Lee Mack, Tommy Tiernan and Peter Kay, Rob has been a regular performer at major venues on both the London and national circuit.
A Edinburgh Fringe favourite, Rob’s shows are massive hits with punters and critics alike, touring them across the country and as far afield as Hungary, Poland and Amsterdam.
Rob’s television credits include 8 Out of 10 Cats, Dave’s One Night Stand, Celebrity Juice, Comedy Shuffle with Rob Rouse, Batteries Not Included, Sean Lock’s 15 Storeys High plus a leading role in Ben Elton’s sitcom Upstart Crow alongside David Mitchell.
Clearly immensely talented … demands to be seen
Noel James has been making people laugh for over 25 years and much of stand-up’s royalty has cited him as being a big influence from Tim Vine and Milton Jones, to Frank Skinner and Dylan Moran.
Noel is surreal, bizarre, absurd, intelligent, and yet, somehow strangely attractive. He’s an accessible act who goes down well anywhere; highly original and just plain ridiculous.
Stands out like a droll giant in a comedy land of trite dwarfs
