Geoff Norcott is quite simply one of the most in demand live comics and TV writers around.
You might have seen Geoff’s name pop up in the credits of any number of top comedy shows, including 8 Out of 10 Cats, Live at the Apollo, C4’s Alternative Election, The Sarah Millican Television Programme, The British Comedy Awards and many more. Recently, Geoff has also featured as a regular face on Nish Kumar’s The Mash Report and made multiple appearances on Comedy Central’s The Comedy Store.
Or you may have seen Geoff live, headlining shows at The Comedy Store, supporting the likes of Katherine Ryan and Kevin Bridges or even earning an operational services medal for his work gigging on the frontline in Afghanistan.
Norcott is an absolute tonic
After winning both The London Paper and the Latitude Festival new act competitions in 2009, Paul McCaffrey has subsequently established himself as one of the most likeable and funniest comedians on the circuit.
Having previously appeared as part of the prestigious Big Value Comedy Show and the AAA Stand-Up Show at The Pleasance, Paul took his debut solo stand-up show, Saying Something Stupid to the Underbelly in 2011, receiving great acclaim from audience and critics alike.
Paul has appeared on the BBC3 prank show, Impractical Jokers, starring alongside Roisin Conaty, Joel Dommett and Marek Larwood and filmed the stand-up spot on Russell Howard’s Good News.
Paul’s radio credits include Russell Kane’s Whistle-Stop Tour and The Matt Forde Show on talkSPORT. He has also done studio warm-up for The Morgana Show and That Sunday Night Show.
He has charm, charisma and success written all over him
Multi-award winning comedian Tom Taylor has received high praise from audiences and critics alike. His unique brand of musical comedy is smart and silly in equal measure and he can boast an impressive stock of quirky, and very funny, musical one-liners.
In 2013 Tom reached the final of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny? competition, previously won by Dylan Moran, Lee Mack and Peter Kay. In 2014, he reached the final of the Hobgoblin Comedy Award and, the following year, won the inaugural Great Yorkshire Fringe New Comedian of the Year competition.
Recently, Tom has performed on Radio 2 and Radio 4 Extra as part of the BBC Radio New Comedy Award and has supported John Kearns, Simon Munnery and Abandoman on tour.
His brand of nervous, neurotic musical comedy – coupling deliberately simplistic tunes on an old Casio keyboard with cleverly constructed lyrics and smart wordplay – is an absolute delight.”
