He charms the pants off the crowd
Andrew isn’t your usual stand-up comedian. Yes, he tells jokes. Yes, he makes you laugh. But he does it all with an innate sense of absurdism and silliness, and proudly displays one of the most inventive comic minds around today. Why tell a joke when you can sing it? Why not tell the masses about the celebrities who live in London’s sewer system? Why not pepper your performance with increasingly funny and bizarre non-sequiteurs?
Highly inventive and extremely funny, Andrew has become one of the circuit’s most in demand live performers. He has also done primetime comedy with Steve Coogan, dabbled in reality TV, and had dozens of sketches broadcast on Radio 1.
Andrew’s television credits include Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Saxondale with Steve Coogan, Stewart Lee’s Alternative Comedy Experience plus lots of radio. including BBC Radio 1, Radio 4, Radio 4 Extra, and 5Live.
An increasingly distinctive, imaginative act… brilliant, genuinely unexpected lines are added to the mix
With an effortless and hilarious delivery, Sean is one of the hottest stand-up comedians around.
A regular on the London comedy circuit and throughout the UK, Sean has also performed in the US, Europe and Scandinavia. He has recently supported Doc Brown and Katherine Ryan on their nationwide tours and starred in the first series of Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central.
Sean has taken three solo shows up to the Edinburgh Fringe with his most recent earning him a UK Barry Award nomination for Best Performer.
This guy is an exciting talent … he is one of the best
Danny McLoughlin began performing stand-up in 2007 and quickly reached the finals of the Chortle Student Comedian of the Year competition. He went on to perform as part of the prestigious Big Value Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2009 and, the following year, supported Al Pitcher on his UK tour. More recently, he has supported both Micky Flanagan and Sean Lock on their national tours and was crowned Best MC at the UK Comedy Awards 2016.
With an amiable, confident stage presence and a well written set Danny delivers material with more than just an immediate pay-off line, preferring to take the joke one or two steps further. Confident enough to take a risk on stage he does so not to the detriment of the audience, keeping them laughing along or hanging on every word. Not many comics could get a laugh from the notion of retro chocolate bars but Danny manages a full, gag packed routine with ease.
Danny has also appeared on Dave’s One Night Stand alongside Al Murray, Andy Zaltzman and Richard Herring.
He can recite an advertising jingle and still get plenty of laughs
