Steve is a diminutive guitar-wielding satirist from Liverpool whose scabrous comedy songs and off the wall observations have made him one of the firm favourites of the comedy circuit.
For nine years, Steve was the smaller one in the dynamic comedy duo and stalwarts of the Edinburgh Festival, Skint Video, appearing on countless television programmes such as Saturday Live, radio such as The Mary Whitehouse Experience, and their own BBC Radio 1 show, Songlines.
Since then Steve has stormed across the UK and Ireland as a live performer alongside his residency at the Comedy Store in London where he is a permanent member of the highly acclaimed weekly topical show, Cutting Edge.
Steve has also appeared on Channel 5’s The Comedy Store and Radio 4’s Loose Ends.
Biting, abusive and very very funny
Yorkshire man Tom Wrigglesworth is now firmly established as one of the UK’s most distinctive and sought after talents. Since his Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination in 2009, he’s continued to gain momentum as a phenomenal live performer, accomplished TV presenter and star of BBC Radio.
Tom has enjoyed several nationwide tours with live shows, has written and starred in four self-titled series for Radio 4 and been invited to perform at comedy festivals across the globe including the prestigious New Zealand, Sydney and Montreal Comedy Festivals.
On TV, Tom was a presenter for Electric Dreams and Engineering Giants – allowing him to indulge his inner geek. As a stand-up, he has performed on Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live, Russell Howard’s Good News and The Comedy Gala as well as The World Stands Up, Edinburgh and Beyond and three series of The Comedy Store.
Frequently heard on BBC radio, Tom Wriggleworth’s Open Letters met with great critical acclaim, and scooped a prestigious Sony Radio Academy Award. His subsequent show, Tom Wrigglesworth’s Hang-Ups, was nominated in the ‘Best Radio’ category at the international Rose D’Or Awards.
Tom is also a regular host of Radio 4`s Comedy Club, and has also guested on Loose Ends, The News Quiz, The Unbelievable Truth, The Now Show and The Infinite Monkey Cage.
The gods of comedy chose Tom Wrigglesworth for greatness
Fresh and unique, Harriet Dyer is one of the most original and exciting new acts on the circuit, delighting audiences up and down the country With her baffling stories of a misspent youth and surreal and bewildering personal tales.
Harriet starred in ITV’s FHM Stand-up Hero and BBC Radio 4 Extra Stands Up, She has also appeared as a guest and talking head on countless programmes for ITV, E4 and Living TV.
Instinctively funny … seems certain to become a comic force to be reckoned with
Multi-award winning comedian Tom Taylor has received high praise from audiences and critics alike. His unique brand of musical comedy is smart and silly in equal measure and he can boast an impressive stock of quirky, and very funny, musical one-liners.
In 2013 Tom reached the final of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny? competition, previously won by Dylan Moran, Lee Mack and Peter Kay. In 2014, he reached the final of the Hobgoblin Comedy Award and, the following year, won the inaugural Great Yorkshire Fringe New Comedian of the Year competition.
Recently, Tom has performed on Radio 2 and Radio 4 Extra as part of the BBC Radio New Comedy Award and has supported John Kearns, Simon Munnery and Abandoman on tour.
His brand of nervous, neurotic musical comedy – coupling deliberately simplistic tunes on an old Casio keyboard with cleverly constructed lyrics and smart wordplay – is an absolute delight.”
