An original, honest and exciting comedian, Eleanor is fast becoming a favourite with British and Irish audiences alike.
Within just a year of starting stand-up Eleanor was asked to perform in Dublin’s Vicar St for the RTE production The Liffey Laughs, and BBC’s One Night Stand before continuing to achieve acclaim on the festival circuit and as the support act for Tommy Tiernan’s ‘Bovinity Tour’.
Eleanor has numerous TV credits to her name including Channel 4’s Headwreckers, Maeve Higgins’ Fancy Vittles and she both wrote and performed in RTE’s The Savage Eye which received an IFTA nomination. More recently Eleanor performed stand-up on Tonight with Craig Doyle and Stewart Lee’s Alternative Comedy Experience.
A distinctive inspired comic mind
A highly distinctive performer and deft writer of finely crafted jokes, Peter unassumingly takes the stage with his slight bespectacled frame and scruffy hair, before consummately conquering it with an arsenal of razor sharp quirky one-liners and peerlessly original routines, all delivered in an amusingly awkward fashion.
Peter has been a finalist in a variety of local and national comedy competitions including the BBC New Comedy Award 2013, as well as winning the Harrogate Comedian of the Year 2012. He has also written for BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, The Show What You Wrote and Newsjack, and supported Arthur Smith during his 2013 tour.
In 2015 he performed his debut solo hour ‘Older Than The Oldest Dog That Ever Lived’ at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, receiving 4*+ reviews. That year he also performed as part of the prestigious ‘Big Value’ showcase run by Just The Tonic.
Compellingly hilarious … first-class gag writing … an original and achingly funny voice
Multi-award winning comedian Tom Taylor has received high praise from audiences and critics alike. His unique brand of musical comedy is smart and silly in equal measure and he can boast an impressive stock of quirky, and very funny, musical one-liners.
In 2013 Tom reached the final of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny? competition, previously won by Dylan Moran, Lee Mack and Peter Kay. In 2014, he reached the final of the Hobgoblin Comedy Award and, the following year, won the inaugural Great Yorkshire Fringe New Comedian of the Year competition.
Recently, Tom has performed on Radio 2 and Radio 4 Extra as part of the BBC Radio New Comedy Award and has supported John Kearns, Simon Munnery and Abandoman on tour.
His brand of nervous, neurotic musical comedy – coupling deliberately simplistic tunes on an old Casio keyboard with cleverly constructed lyrics and smart wordplay – is an absolute delight.”
